Zagarri Engineering was built on decades of hands-on experience in the wireless industry—long before smartphones, streaming, and always-on connectivity became part of everyday life.
Founder Vince Zagarri began his career in wireless communications in 1986, during the earliest days of cellular technology. At the time, the St. Louis cellular network was still in its infancy, serving fewer than 2,000 brick phone and car phone customers. What started as an opportunity in a brand-new industry quickly turned into a lifelong passion for RF engineering and wireless communications.
As the cellular industry rapidly evolved, Vince gained experience through multiple major telecom transitions—from CyberTel to Ameritech Cellular, then GTE Mobilnet, and ultimately Verizon Wireless. Along the way, he witnessed firsthand the explosive growth and transformation of wireless technology across the United States.
After navigating both startup ventures and enterprise technology roles, Vince eventually found himself immersed in the construction industry, where technical and wireless challenges continued to surface on projects. Recognizing a growing need for specialized RF expertise, he launched Zagarri Engineering in 2005 as a side venture focused on solving complex wireless communication issues.
By 2010, the company had fully transitioned back into wireless engineering and integration, laying the foundation for the business it is today.
Today, Zagarri Engineering combines decades of real-world RF experience with modern wireless solutions, specializing in ERCES/Public Safety DAS, in-building wireless systems, cellular enhancement, and Wi-Fi integration. From the earliest days of cellular to today’s mission-critical communication systems, our team remains committed to one thing: delivering reliable wireless coverage where it matters most.
